Following on from the easing of restrictions from the NI Executive, NISRA plan on reopening the secure environment to researchers from Tuesday 1st June. While this will initially be on a restricted basis, it is hoped that access will increase over the summer as restrictions and guidance from the NI Executive relax.
All researchers returning to the secure environment will be expected to adhere to all protocols detailed in the attached revised guidance. Please take time to read this guidance carefully.
RSU are now accepting booking requests for access to the secure environment. In order to book a visit to the secure environment researchers are asked to request access via email to rsu@nisra.gov.uk by using the form in Annex A of the attached guidance. Please send your completed booking request form to RSU by 12 noon on the Wednesday of the week prior to your requested visit i.e any request to book a visit during the week of 1stJune must be received by RSU by 12 noon on Wednesday 26th May. RSU will endeavour to accommodate preferred time slots and to allocate slots fairly amongst researchers.
Please note that on site protocols and procedures will be reviewed and revised in accordance with extant guidance at the time of any review. Also a continued opening of the secure environment will be dependent on the availability of staff and future potential local lockdowns.
Stay safe and best wishes.
